Bible Gateway

Bible Gateway

This site (you can get the app for your phone) is a great resource when you are on the go.

Three important things:

1. You can set the app to actually SPEAK THE BIBLE TO YOU!! That is a great blessing in itself.

Listen to God's Word as you drive and combat all the negative stuff that happens on the road.

2. I recommend using the English Stand

2. I recommend using the English Standard Version (ESV), which is a VERY correct translation of the original writings.

3. Bible Gateway allows you to change the bible translation so that you can understand God's word better. Sometimes while reading a verse, I may cycle between the ESV, King James (KJV), and the Amplified Bible (AMP) to get a full understanding.

First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings, and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all, which is the testimony given at the proper time.
